Portland Fashion Week aims to make fashion weeks affordable for designers to showcase their collections, to improve the fashion retail business and to make fashion sustainable. Since 2007 PFW has been making the production of the event itself sustainable - from construction of the actual runway with eco-friendly materials, to eco-safe styling products on models, to even using sustainable-certified hotels for their guests.
